JEREMY CLELAND is a former pro athlete and motorcycle racer. He has amassed numerous national and World Cup Championship wins during his time on the Olympic Jr. National Luge Team. In 2002 Jeremy was given the honor of carrying the Olympic Torch through Seattle en route to the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games.

Jeremy’s passion for motorcycles and technology led to opportunities working for companies Tesla Motors and Mission Motors as an early pioneer in developing electric vehicles. In 2008, he led the racing team effort at Mission to compete in the world’s first Grand Prix electric motorcycle race on the Isle of Man. Later that year, Jeremy rode Mission’s electric motorcycle to a Land Speed Record of 150mph at Bonneville Salt Flats.

Jeremy lives in New York City with his wife and The Respect Institute co-founder, Courtney Macavinta, and son Tru. He continues to race motorcycles and works with several young professional athletes as a mentor and coach. He also co-leads rallies with his wife for The Respect Institute, working with teenagers and educators around the nation.

Jeremy currently oversees the North and South American market for Italian motorcycle manufacturer Piaggio, developing and marketing high performance motorcycle products.
