Outcomes

Clcik here for RESULTS from post-program evaluations completed by more than 2,000 youth.

Our programs are a part of the proactive solution to the root cause of:
•    isolation/community disconnect
•    family/dating violence
•    bullying/sexual harassment
•    teen pregnancy/STDs
•    high school dropout
•    unhealthy behaviors including substance abuse and childhood obesity
•    low self-esteem/self-respect
•    the “-isms” based on race, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, etc.

We are currently completing a controlled study with San Francisco State University to measure the impact of one of our core programs: The Respect Rally. We’re also conducting research to establish indicators for self-respect and mutual respect that we will share with the global community. Currently, we use an outcomes-based evaluation to measure the results of our programs.

Our current outcomes include INCREASED:
•    awareness of the impact of disrespect one’s self-worth, quality of life, peers and community
•    awareness of the connection between self-respect and creating healthy relationships, physical well-being and reaching one’s goals (self-efficacy)
•    skills to build one’s self-respect
•    ability to thrive by practicing The Respect Basics
•    commitment to lead social change by spreading respect for all
•    nonviolence and respectful communication skills
